Landlord & Landlady

Craig & Claire - after 15 years in the service industry we are very proud to be going it alone and running our own pub/restaurant. The Crown Inn is the perfect match for us and we look forward to spending many happy years here with our young family.

The Kitchen

Head Chef - Craig, began his trade working in a little known Italian restaurant specialising in freshly cooked pasta & pizza. Working in an open kitchen he learned to cook with flare and instantly found a passion for cooking. Since then he has made a transition to front of house manager and back again working at the likes of The Queens, Belbroughton and more recently The Oak Inn Defford.

Fresh, local & seasonal produce are key elements to his cooking, the menu changes with the seasons where traditional dishes with a modern twist are blended with new creative dishes, but don't be surprised to see the odd Italian influence.

Sous Chef - Jordan, a new and exciting member of the team brings a fresh new outlook in the kitchen, with an unrivalled passion for the industry and already highly skilled expect to see a step up in the food on offer at The Crown. At just 19 years old we are very excited to help him learn and develop and give him the freedom to express himself through his food. Working closely with head chef Craig he is already creating many new and exciting dishes, adding a new dimension to our menu and will continue to help further the Crown's reputation for fantastic, seasonal and refreshingly different food .

Front of House

Restaurant Manager - Claire, embarked on her career in the service industry from as early as 14 years old waitressing at Dunstall Park in Wolverhampton. She went on to work at the then Beatties where she quickly rised through the ranks to become their youngest ever floor and area manager respectively. Now a proud mother of two young boys she acts as owner and hostess of The Crown.  Expert knowledge of wine, food & ales accompany her bubbly personality and kind nature to help create a fantastic experience for our guests. Expect a warm, friendly Black Country welcome! 

Assistant Manager - Misha, a refreshing new member of the team who has an immense passion for the industry. Young, fresh and very good at her job you can expect a warm smile with excellent customer service, knowledge and willingness to go that extra mile, all delivered with the upmost professionalism. We hope to hold on to her for a very long time!

Bar Manager- Craig T, is a proffesionally trained bar tender with an abundance of talent and an in depth knowledge of mixology. He has a great passion for the trade and will bring a new dimension to what we have on offer on the bar bringing in cocktails and high end spirits. With a good balance of professionalism, knowledge, ettiquette & banter he has settled in well with the locals and continues to impress our diners with his friendly aproach.
